Mumbai is big, vibrant city located in North India. Every year, thousands of tourists come and visit Mumbai. Mumbai is unique in another way that is that it  has both modern and traditional life. The city of Mumbai is always busy and you can find people in a hurry to do their every day chores.It is also an industrial city where various types of industries run. So, people from all over Iindia come to work in various factories and concerns and earn their livings.

Languages to Manage in Mumbai:

English is also understood and spoken along with Hindi and Maharashtra Language, so you don’t need to worry about communication with others. If you can speak Hindi, the national language of India, you are more than welcome to Mumbai. But, even if you don’t know how to speak that language, you don’t have to worry like in China or Japan where you have to speak their languages in order to manage. A little bit English will be enough to manage. Even auto rickshaw wallas  will be able to grasp what you are speaking.

The best time to come to Mumbai is the winter time when the climate will be pleasant and you can feel better going out. But, in the summer time, heat will be higher and you cannot go for shopping or sight seeing.

Important Places worth seeing In Mumbai:

Elephanta Caves:

Elephanta Caves is a top historical place to visit in Mumbai. It is an island situated right in the middle of Mumbai Harbour. It is world heritage site and it deserves its title completely because of its stunningly beautiful scenery. There is  a  temple dedicated to Siva. It has a tall statue of Sadhasiva with the height 6 meters. The architecture of the temples will surely attract you. But, one thing you have to be careful about is the nuisance of free roaming monkeys which will take away your belongings if you are not very careful.

The Haji Ali Masjid:

 This marvelous mosque is otherwise known as Haji Ali Dharga. You can visit this holy place every day except on Fridays. It is one of the renowned landmarks of Mumbai. It has the tomb of Haji Ali who was dead during the Muslim pilgrimage performance. Any Muslim who completes this performance is given this title ‘Haji’.

Сhhаtrараtі Ѕhіvајі Маhаrај Vаstu Ѕаngrаhаlауа:

This is one of the well known places in Mumbai. This stupendous building was built none other than the architect who built the famous Gateway of India. It has a very big museum displaying the exhibits of  the whole Mumbai as well as other parts of India. The museum is open since 1923 and a trip to this museum is really worth aind  so many visitors come and visit this museum every day.

The Saint Thomas Cathedral:

It was the first Anglican Church built here in whole India. It was built in the year 1718 and it is the oldest church that is remaining in Mumbai. It has a stunning architecture and when you go and visit this church you will feel tranquility from the everyday stress you are experiencing from the hustle and bustle of the main city.

Тhе Rајаbа (Сlосk) Тоwеr:

It is another landmark in Mumbai which was designed by an English Architect and was promised to be  paid for the expenses of the building by an Indian Businessman if it was to be named after his beloved mother. It was completed in the year 1878 and it took nearly over 9 years to finish. Since it was 85 meters high, you would be able to have a complete view of Mumbai from the tower. But, visitors are not allowed now due to tha fact that some persons committed suicide from there.

Flora Fountain:

When you come to Mumbai, please do not forget to visit Flora Fountain. It is in the middle of the city and was built in 1864. It depicts Roman Goddess Flora which was one of the fertility goddesses of Roman Mythology. It is a beautiful spot to  visit especially during night time because of the lights that beautify the fountain.

Juhu Beach:

Juhu Beach is one of the most splendid places to visit. It is a secluded spot and not too crowded, So, you can enjoy the beach in a relaxed manner. It is situated in the west side of Mumbai. You savor a variety of tasty dishes from the restaurants that offer different cuisines. Even the Bollywood stars have bought properties here.

Overall, the city of Mumbai is a place that offers a lot to see with its outstanding architectures and various people with various cultural backgrounds and the easy transportation facilities and hotels will make your trip an easy one. You should visit Mumbai at least once in your life.
